Its a trick question, the cardiovascular system does all of the above.
A. The immune system travels through the blood.
B. Blood carries needed materials to all parts of the body
C. Veins carry waste material and bacteria away from cells
D. Chemicals are transported through the blood which affects the processes of the body.

All of the answers except D are true for the cardiovascular system. The endocrine system controls body processes by means of chemicals. The cardiovascular system does transport hormones that regulate body processes, but the cardiovascular system does not regulate the amount produced and where the chemicals go.

It transports all the chemicals, but it is not in charge of the chemicals so it is not controlling it. Glands and the brain are “in charge” of the chemicals, but the cardiovascular system does not control what it carries in terms of chemicals. Same as a tractor trailer does not carry what it makes, but what its told to.
